(page updated on 08/01/09) The mounds that are in various places are Megablok pieces. I know, it's a Lego comic, but these pieces work good. I aquired an eBay lot of 20 pounds of Megablok's and Lego for $15 with shipping. I salvaged what I wanted which was some figures, the mounds, and a bunch of misc castle walls.
